Technical consultation summary
In Cornish waters Saithe is rarely caught total landings to cornish ports in 2022 was 30 tonnes and the landings have declined historically (412 tonnes in 1995) and have been low and stable since 2017. There is no data on saithe in area VII published by ICES. The population of coley, or saithe, in the North Sea, West of Scotland and Rockall, and Skagerrak is growing and fishing is within sustainable limits.
