Fundraise at your school or group

Your school or group could help turn the tide on our ocean, and have fun doing it!

Fundraising for the ocean in school or as a group is a great way to build leadership, community involvement, and real‑world environmental impact. It strengthens a sense of global responsibility while building a positive culture. Plus, ocean‑focused fundraising directly connects to science, geography, and sustainability education, helping students to see the real‑world impact of what they learn in class.

Show your support for the ocean

Support us for a day, a week, or a whole school year while learning about the ocean, climate change, and community responsibility. There are lots of things you can do to become a champion for our seas, from fun runs and bake sales to sponsored beach cleans and litter picks. Download our editable posters to promote your event, and if you’re collecting cash, ask us for a collection box to keep it safe!

Organise a Big Blue Day

Raise awareness of our awe-inspiring seas and marine wildlife by throwing your own day of celebration at school.

Choose any date and have a full day of fun activities to raise money. Get everyone to wear blue, host an ocean-themed bake sale, have a sports day - anything that brings people together to celebrate our blue planet!

You can make a real difference

£100 could equip 10 volunteers to survey litter found on our beaches

£500 could help us bring an inland school or community group to the coast for the first time, to nurture their connection to the ocean and learn more about how they can help protect it

£1000 could help protect 5000m2 of endangered seagrass, which is the habitat for many seahorses
