Annual General Meeting 2024

To celebrate 30 years of our Beachwatch programme, Marine Conservation Society members were invited to join us in reflecting on our incredible journey, celebrating our achievements, and exploring the progress we’re making in marine conservation.

Stories of hope

During our 33rd Annual General Meeting, we heard from Lizzie Price, our Beachwatch Manager, who highlighted the critical role of citizen science and demonstrated the impact of beach clean data in driving meaningful policy changes.

We were thrilled to have comedian, sea swimmer, and Ocean Ambassador, Zoe Lyons, share her experiences of volunteering with our citizen science programmes and her hopeful perspective on the future of marine conservation.
