How to throw a Big Blue Day

STEP ONE: Set a date

We recommend World Oceans Day on 8 June. However, you can hold your event whenever you like.

STEP TWO: Choose an idea

Get everyone at your school, club or workplace to dress up for the day. Why not take part in hosting your own Big Blue Dash, an ocean themed race?

Make sure to let your supporters know all about your event and why you chose to support The Marine Conservation Society! Including photos and regular updates is a great idea and remember to make sure you follow up after the event by letting your friends know how well you did - around 20% of donations come in after an event has finished!
