Events organisers

Bring the ocean to life in your local area by hosting Marine Conservation Society stalls at events, fairs and fetes.
Please note: You must have a volunteer account with us to sign up as a media spokesperson

What's involved?

After completing the online training and receiving your very own events kit, events organisers will attend local events, fairs and fetes to distribute materials which engage and inspire members of the public.

As an events organiser, you’ll be supporting us by:

  • Creating visually appealing stalls or stands
  • Promoting the work of the Marine Conservation Society through our printed materials
  • Handing out branded merchandise and information leaflets.

Training support

Here are the resources that can help you to get started. You may find some more relevant to your skills and experience than others, but please take a look through them all. You can revisit these at any time, so don’t worry about taking in everything at once!

This training will take you to an external site called 'EdApp', where you’ll need to register to access the information.

If you have any questions or would like more support after going through the training resources, please contact seachampions@mcsuk.org
