Partnering with holidaycottages .co.uk

Holidaycottages.co.uk have been proudly supporting the Marine Conservation Society since 2020, and in 2025 they took a huge step forward in becoming a supporting sponsor of our flagship event; the Great British Beach Clean.

Support from holidaycottages.co.uk has historically supported conservation projects in and around the South coast of England to restore and preserve threatened seagrass habitats. In 2025, this support moved from underwater habitats to beach cleaning, as the company grabs its litter pickers ahead of the Great British Beach Clean in September.

2025 marked the 31st edition of the flagship beach cleaning event, where thousands of people head to beaches across the country to pick, record, and dispose of the litter found there. Great British Beach Clean kicked off with a flagship clean on Friday 19th September at Westward Ho!, close to the company’s Bideford HQ, and ran until Sunday 28th September.

The UK coast offers a wide range of popular holiday destinations, and holidaycottages.co.uk has over 250,000 people holidaying by the sea with them each year. So working with a conservation charity as a corporate partner, to not only protect and preserve our ocean but to clean up our beaches and coastlines for future generations, is a key priority for the business.

Marine Conservation Society staff are pleased to be joining the holidaycottages.co.uk social media promotion ‘My Happy Place’ in 2025. Showing our favourite beaches, and happy places, across the length and breadth of the UK.
