Whiting sustainability varies. For the Best Choice, look for the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) eco-label. Fish to Avoid include whiting from the Irish Sea and southwest of the UK. Whiting is less common in supermarkets than cod or haddock, but you may find it at fishmongers or in some seafood products.
